happy blogiversary!

in case you don't have this day marked on your calendar as a holiday (which you should - get with it!) i am pleased to inform you that today marks the first anniversary of my culinary meandering!

HUZZAH!

to celebrate this joyous event, i bought myself one of these:

in the true spirit of the blog, shared this with my lovely roommates. we sang a little song and took a little picture. it was beautiful. 

i'm majorly swamped with end of term papers at the moment, so this wee celebration is all i can muster for the big one year. BUT, never fear, i'll be back in the kitchen shortly. in fact, stay tuned this weekend for some Hunger Games themed meandering!
